The 7/23/92 corrections affected only files 2 and 75. ******** The source files are written in FORTRAN 77 and were compiled under OS/VS2 using the IBM VS compiler (Level 2.2.0) and Assembler level H on an IBM 3090 computer. Under MVS/XA addressing mode (AMODE) must be limited to 24. ******** All source files are configured to run on IBM. CRAY users must process files with COMMENT before compiling. After processing with the COMMENT program, the system has been installed and tested on a CRAY X-MP running UNICOS, Version 6 using the CFT77 compiler, Version 4. ********* The entire SCALE 4.1 system requires three 9-track, 6250 BPI tapes and one DS/HD (1.2 or 1.44 MB) diskette. The system is alternately available on 1 DC 6150 cartridge tape. in tar format. Filenames on this tape correspond to those listed on these tapelists, with a few exceptions. The prefix "PDC" is omitted. ORIGEN libraries on file 2 are preceded with "ORLIB1" rather than ending with CONVLIB. Libraries on file 3 are preceded with "ORLIB2" rather than ending with CONVLIB. To read the tar tape: 1. tar xvf /dev/nrst0 ccc545t1 get file from tape to disk 2. tar xvf ccc545t1 get individually compressed files 3. cd scat1 change to dir created previously 4. uncompress * uncompress individual files A directory called "scat1" will be created containing 114 files from file 1. Approximately 350 MB of hard disk space is required to unload all files. Tar files 2 and 3 are called ccc545t2 and ccc545t3 and create subdirectories scat2 and scat3 respectively.
