A Fortran compiler is required on all systems to build problem-specific
executables; therefore, no executables are included in the package.
Penelope can be run on almost any operating system supporting a Fortran
77 compiler (Unix, MS-DOS, Windows95, Windows NT, ME, VMS, etc.).
The code was tested at RSICC on a PC Pentium under WindowsME using
GNU Fortran G77 v0.5.25.
File NEA-1525.005\report\manual.txt contains some general information
about the package contents. The installation section of manual.txt
contains guidance on compiling and loading executables. Sample input
files are provided, but no output is included.
See the referenced report in file penelope.pdf in the report directory.
Chapter 6 contains information on structure and operation of the code.
The installation section beginning on page 200 contains a brief
description of the fortran files.
