Export control regulations restrict the distribution of Fortran 
source code. If restrictions apply, RSICC will send the 
executable-only version. Please note that included executables 
run only on the machines listed in section 9 of the code abstracts.

MCNP6_BETA3
By default: 
For Windows systems (Cygwin or not), 32-bit executables are 
installed, since plotting does not work (yet) for the 64-bit 
executable. Users running very large problems may need to also 
install manually the 64-bit executable, that is stored as LANL
\MCNP_CODE\MCNP6\bin\windows\mcnp6_windows_x86_64_omp. The 
installation scripts have been tested only on Windows-XP and 
Windows-7 systems. 

For Mac OS X systems, OS X 10.6 or higher is required. 64-bit
executables are installed. 

For Linux systems, the system architecture is checked & either 
32-bit or 64-bit executables are installed as appropriate. 

******** Windows Users ********
Please see INSTALL.html for installation instructions for MCNP6 
exe/source and MCNP_DATA.  Please be sure to LOG OUT and log 
back in before attempting to execute any MCNP binaries.


MCNP5/MCNPX
Windows Installers are on the DVD in the MCNP5 and MCNPDATA 
directories.  Run them by double clicking on "setup.exe" and 
responding to queries. These installers will install MCNP5 and 
MCNPX executables to MCNP5\mcnp5\bin\Windows. 

The MCNP Visual Editor VISED 24E is also included. The MCNPX_
2.7.0\Vised directory will need to moved to MCNP5\utilities\
Vised after installation.

The MCNP5 executables were created on a 64-bit/32-Bit SP4 with 
cygwin, Intel 9.1 f90, gcc.
