It is a self- extracting WinZIP compressed file which will create a KENO3D subdirectory into which it will expand the KENO3D executable and associated files. After expanding files, double click on KENO3D.EXE to begin execution. See README.HTML for more details. To install and use KENO3D, the following configuration is required: · Windows 95/98/NT/2000 PC · A VGA monitor · A Pentium or later processor · At least 32 Megabytes RAM (128 - 512 Megabytes RAM is recommended) · 50 Megabytes of free disk space is recommended Operating system: Microsoft Windows 95, 98, or NT 4.0 or later. Internet Explorer 5 or later is required to use the KENO3D help files. Microsoft C++ Version 6.0 was used to create the executable included in the package. KENO3D provides an interface to ACIS (R) 3D Toolkit. Due to the proprietary nature of the ACIS software, source code is not available. The required ACIS software is bundled into the executable. An extensive online help system is included in this package to aid the user. The file, KENO3D.chm, is a compiled html file that is viewable while running KENO3D or using Internet Explorer 5.0. You need Internet Explorer 5.0 or later installed on your PC in order to use the help files from KENO3D. Internet Explorer does not have to be the default browser, however. The latest Internet Explorer can be downloaded for free from Microsoft (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads) Visit the KENO3D home page at http://www.cped.ornl.gov/scale/keno3d/index.html for the latest information on KENO3D and to communicate with the code author.
