RIGEL5 retrieves ENDF/B data from one to nine tapes and merges onto one to eight result tapes.

STNDRD standardizes ENDF/B data formats (i.e., removes E's in exponential format), resequences file and creates or updates the dictionary for all materials.

CRECT corrects data on an ENDF tape.

CHECK5 checks ENDF/B data files for legal formats.

FIZCON checks ENDF/B data for physics consistency and sees that recommended procedures are followed.

INTEND is a general purpose ENDF Cross Section Integration program. Its material must first be processed by RESEND.

RESEND5 generates infinitely dilute cross sections from File 2 resonance parameters and adds it to File 3 background. It includes interpolation on cross section in unresolved region, new quadrature for fluctuation integral and added mesh generation option.

LSTFCV produces interpreted listings of ENDF/B data. It is an abbreviated version of PLOTFB and will only produce interpreted output from BCD standard arrangement ENDF/B tapes.

7. TYPICAL RUNNING TIME

No study has been made by RSIC of typical running times for CHENDF.

8. COMPUTER HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS

CHENDF is operable on the IBM 360/370 computers.

9. COMPUTER SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS

A Fortran IV compiler is required.
